"Who is CroZoo?"

CroZoo Zoological Education Services is headed up by John Crocitto, an exotic animal care specialist & wildlife biologist who has worked with a wide variety of both domestic & non-native animals from around the world for the last twenty years! His areas of expertise include animals of the New World (or those originating from North, Central & South America) and the "ecto-therms"...the amphibians and reptiles! Crocitto pursued an education in the zoological sciences and graduated from the State University of New York with a degree in Animal Management. This offered John the opportunity to hone his skills at a number of Western New York animal care facilities of distinction including the Aquarium of Niagara Falls and the Buffalo Zoological Gardens . He has also been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for a number of years, working with both injured and orphaned New York State native wild animals and specializing in local amphibians & reptiles. Today, Crocitto travels extensively throughout the region lecturing and speaking to a wide variety of audiences about conservation education issues and wildlife. His client list is always growing and includes a number of well known colleges & universities located throughout Central & Western New York, as well as Erie, Genessee, and Monroe Counties, New York State and PBS.
